Subodh Foundation UK Signs MoU with Universal Engineering and Science College

As part of Subodh Foundation's commitment to supporting education in Nepal.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been formally signed between Universal Engineering and Science College (UESC), Nepal, and Subodh Foundation, UK, marking a significant step toward strengthening academic cooperation, advancing research opportunities, and expanding pathways for higher studies and employment for Nepali engineering students in the United Kingdom.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Bhesh Raj Thapa, Principal of UESC, and Er. Subodh Timilsina, Chairperson at Subodh Foundation UK. This strategic partnership aims to create meaningful academic exchanges, enhance graduate prospects in the UK, and establish a long-term institutional relationship between the two organizations

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Mandip Subedi, Director of UESC, acknowledged the Foundation’s sustained contributions to Nepal’s education sector. He noted that this MoU will further strengthen research support, scholarship opportunities, and collaborative academic initiatives, contributing to the overall development of Nepal’s engineering education landscape.

The key areas of collaboration under the MoU included annual research scholarships to support UESC graduates, to cooperate in joint educational events, to promote of higher studies and employment opportunities in the UK for UESC graduates and promoting mutual academic and institutional strengthening to foster long term collaboration.

The ceremony was attended by Subodh Foundation trustees Mrs. Babita Timilsina and Ms. Ajeena Timilsina, alongside UESC faculty members and students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Er. Gajendra Jha, Vice Principal of UESC.

This partnership is expected to open new horizons for Nepali engineering students, promoting academic excellence, global exposure, and enhanced career opportunities in the years ahead.
