Subodh Foundation UK Donates Sound System to Bhakti Club York

Subodh Foundation UK successfully handed over a sound system with wireless microphones to ISKCON-affiliated Bhakti Club York during a formal ceremony held at the Heslington Meeting Room, Heslington, York.
The event was graced by the presence of HG Tribhangananda Das, a disciple of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, alongside Ganesh Thapa, Leader of Bhakti Centre York, devotees, and members of the local community. The donation reflects Subodh Foundation UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting spiritual development and community-focused initiatives.
Valued at £1,021.45, the newly donated sound system is expected to significantly enhance Bhakti Club York’s spiritual programmes. It will be used for activities such as bhajans, kirtans, lectures, and community gatherings, helping to improve the quality of presentations and extend their reach within the local community.
Expressing his gratitude, HG Tribhangananda Das emphasised the importance of having a reliable and high-quality sound system for devotional programmes. He noted that the donation would greatly assist in spreading Krishna consciousness, a spiritual movement that continues to grow across the UK and worldwide, while deepening devotional engagement and attracting broader participation.
The programme commenced with a devotional bhajan, setting a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, followed by the formal handover of the sound system by Subodh Foundation UK. Representatives from ISKCON York shared messages of appreciation, acknowledging the foundation’s generous support and dedication to spiritual and cultural causes.
During the ceremony, Subodh Timilsina, Chair of Trustees and Founder of Subodh Foundation UK, addressed the gathering and reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to community service, cultural enrichment, and spiritual wellbeing. He commended Bhakti Club York for its meaningful contribution to spiritual upliftment and community engagement, expressing confidence that the sound system would further strengthen the club’s programmes.
As a gesture of gratitude and goodwill, representatives of Bhakti Club York and ISKCON York presented Subodh Timilsina with small devotional gifts, including spiritual books and a japa mala. The exchange symbolised mutual respect, shared values, and the deep spiritual connection fostered through this collaborative effort.
The event also featured a spiritual discourse by HG Tribhangananda Das, followed by an energising Kirtan Dance that brought joy and enthusiasm to participants. The programme concluded with a Prasadam Feast, uniting devotees and community members in an atmosphere of warmth, gratitude, and fellowship.
