Inaugural Educational Excellence Award

21st September 2023 - An award ceremony at Pulchowk Campus celebrated outstanding achievements of architecture and planning students, made possible through the generous support of Subodh Foundation UK and its commitment to education and innovation.

Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, TU, was filled with joy as students' architectural achievements were celebrated at an award ceremony in the Conference Hall. This event was generously supported by Subodh Foundation UK, led by Mr. Subodh Timilsina. It highlighted the exceptional accomplishments of our students.

The ceremony began with Dr. Sanjaya Uprety warmly welcoming everyone and providing an overview of the program's background and highlights. The awards weren't just symbolic; they included a cash prize and a special memento, courtesy of Subodh Foundation UK. A total of Nine students, from both Bachelor's and Master's Programs, received these honors.

Prof. Dr. Sushil B Bazracharya, Prof. Dr. Indra Acharya, and Er. Subodh Timilsina acknowledged the awardees from the Bachelor of Architecture program. Moreover, Dr. Uprety, Dr. Acharya, and Er. Timilsina honored top achievers from the MSC in Urban Planning, M. Arch, and MSC in Energy Efficient Buildings programs.

Prof. Dr. Acharya and Er. Timilsina applauded the Master's students for their exceptional work and academic achievements. Mr. Subodh Timilsina, representing Subodh Foundation UK, emphasized the significance of education and innovation, extending beyond architecture to encompass urban planning and energy matters. He expressed the foundation's eagerness to collaborate on research and academic ventures with the department's students and faculty. Asst.

Prof. Inu Pradhan Salike, Deputy Head of the Department, concluded the event by warmly thanking Subodh Foundation for its support.

The event concluded with a group photo session and refreshments, capturing the jubilant spirit of accomplishment and collaboration. It was a moment of shared success, strengthening bonds within Pulchowk Campus's architectural community.
